Soft Power: What It Really Feels Like to Let Go
Healing began when I stopped trying to fix myself. The philosophy behind SoftPower coaching, and what letting go actually feels like in the body.

Coaching for reflective high performers
You function. You think deeply, take responsibility, and know how to solve complex problems. But internally, it can be difficult to truly settle.
SoftPower Coaching helps you move from overthinking, inner tension, and self-abandonment toward nervous-system safety, clear boundaries, and embodied self-leadership.

Recognition
Maybe you analyze your feelings instead of feeling them. You put your own needs aside as soon as someone else depends on you. You know what you should change — and still find yourself returning to the same patterns.
Overthinking, inner restlessness, and anxiety are often not the real problem. They can be the result of a nervous system that has learned to create safety through control, adaptation, and constant anticipation.
SoftPower Coaching helps you change this relationship at its foundation. Not by teaching you to control yourself more effectively, but by helping you reconnect with your body, recognize your needs, and remain connected to yourself under pressure.
You understand your patterns intellectually, but insight alone does not create lasting change.
You experience overthinking, anxiety, or recurring emotional loops.
You recognize your boundaries only after crossing them.
You feel responsible for other people's emotional state.
Rest feels unproductive or unsafe.
You want to feel your emotions without being controlled by them.
You want more inner safety, aliveness, and clarity.
Transformation
The goal is to stop losing yourself inside them.
Recognize nervous-system signals earlier
Tell emotions apart from the stories built around them
Regulate anxiety without suppressing it
Interrupt overthinking and reconnect with the body
Identify needs and boundaries before exhaustion
Understand protective patterns without identifying with them
Decide from self-connection rather than fear or pressure
Build a more embodied sense of inner safety
The SoftPower approach
SoftPower combines cognitive clarity with body-based nervous-system work. I do not follow a rigid formula. We examine what is currently happening in your life, identify the pattern beneath it, and translate that insight into a concrete experience or action.
You do not need another stack of theory. You need a different relationship with yourself.
One integrated practice — not five separate methods
Coaching
Three months offers enough continuity to recognize patterns, practice new responses, and integrate change — without creating an open-ended dependency.

About Jan
I know the capable strategist who takes responsibility, solves complex problems, and keeps things moving. And I know what it is like when the nervous system enters a state of alarm despite every rational explanation.
I have built businesses and communities, worked as a Chief Product Officer, and spent years navigating complex decisions, teams, and responsibility. My own experience with anxiety, panic, and nervous-system sensitization eventually forced me to learn something that thinking alone could not solve:
Real safety does not come from complete control. It comes from the ability to remain connected to yourself.
Today, I combine strategic clarity, psychological understanding, somatic work, and lived experience in a coaching approach that is neither purely cognitive nor vaguely spiritual.
I am not here to fix you. I help you reconnect with the clarity, strength, and self-leadership that already exist beneath your protective patterns. This work is coaching — not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
In their words
Shared with permission, first name only. Coaching stays confidential.
Jan guided me through the start of self-employment and helped me work with the fears that came with it.
The sessions were a mix of business coaching and emotional work: pricing strategies and figuring out what I’m worth, managing client calls and managing my anxiety.
He listened carefully, asked sharp questions, and reflected things back to me in words that were so simple, but felt like revelations.
Jan helped me see that I was stuck in a corridor with a hundred doors, afraid to open any of them out of fear of choosing wrongly.
The coaching helped me exchange fear for curiosity. Opening a door feels lighter now, because if I don’t like what’s inside, there are 99 more to explore.
Thank you, Jan!

Four principles
You are not your emotions.
Your body is not working against you.
You can feel — and still choose.
Safety grows through connection, not control.
